| Overview | As Director of Library Services, David Morgan ensures that the Firm’s lawyers have access to the highest quality legal information resources available. David also provides research services, facilitates access to the Firm’s existing work product, manages the Firm’s legislative monitoring Web site and has implemented a knowledge management (KM) system. These functions contribute to the quality of legal services delivered to the Firm’s clients.
Prior to completing his graduate degree and joining McNair in 1998, David was a school teacher. He taught high school history and geography in Montreal, and middle school at the Singapore American School.
David stays current with the latest developments in the profession through his memberships in the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) He is actively involved in these associations having served as a Director of the South Carolina chapter of SLA, and as a steering committee member for a regional SLA conference. |
