McNair Law Firm, P. A. seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist in the development and execution of the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives.  The Communications Manager will manage the firm’s messaging strategy, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in crafting and delivering marketing and business development content.  Reporting to the Marketing and Business Development Director, the individual will work closely with the firm’s practice group leaders to increase market visibility and drive business development opportunities.

Responsibilities include digital marketing, including website redesign, email marketing campaign strategy, firm blogs, and social media management; marketing collateral, including pitch materials, practice brochures, and advertisements; public relations, including earned and paid media; internal communications, including internal firm newsletter and firm intranet; and content marketing, including digital content, bylined articles, and client alerts.

Qualified candidates will have an undergraduate degree in marketing or a related field; 5+ years experience, preferably in a professional services industry; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; proven leadership and consensus-building skills, marketing management and planning experience, and strong research skills; strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision; excellent writing and presentation skills and an exacting attention to detail in all work product.  Must be willing to work overtime as needed and travel. Position may be based in Columbia, Greenville or Charleston, SC.
